Spring 2020 KICKBALL SEASON

Dates/Times: All games will be played on Sunday afternoons between 11:00 AM - 4:00PM. Games are 45 minutes each and will begin on the hour.

Facility:  We will be playing at Driving Park, located at 1100 Rhoads Ave. Columbus, OH 43206

League Description: Pending registration, Stonewall Sports - Columbus Kickball plans to have three Divisions. Divisions (and final number of teams per division) will be decided after registration closes and based on the captain's indicated competition level. This season we will be having a "Competitive" and "Classic" division. Captain's will indicate which division they would like their team to be in once they have successfully registered their team. Free agents will be given the option to choose as well. Contingent on final numbers, there is the possibility that you will not play every team in your division.

Registration Cost: $35 per player, which includes your registered player t-shirt (see registration information section below). The league is open to all and those in need of an equitable registration option can complete this form.

Registration Information: Registration for the Spring 2020 league begins on Sunday, March 1, 2020 to Sunday, March 15, 2020; or when the league is full.

This season, Stonewall Sports - Columbus is looking to offer two division options, Competitive and Classic. The Competitive division is a higher intensity division for those looking for more of a challenge. The Classic division is a social division for those looking to meet new people and play in a relaxed atmosphere.

• A team is formed when 16 players register and each player has paid within 24 hours. Each team may have up to 20 players. Any team that does not have the required 16 registered players when registration closes will revert to incorporating free agents to until the number reaches the minimum. We will do our best to keep groups together in the case that a minimum of 16 players is not met.
• Captains: If you plan on being the captain of a team, you will need to register first, create the correct team and team name and then have players register under your team name. An email will be sent once you have signed up with additional team information and responsibilities as a captain as well as a link to select your color preferences, competition preferences, and preferences for rain outs for the Spring 2020 season. (Note: Returning team captains have first choice to their color from the previous season.) Captains and Co-Captains are also required to attend a mandatory Captain meeting on Sunday, March 29, 2020 (details to follow).  If neither the captain nor the co-captain are able to attend, they must provide a representative in their place.
• Players:
• I plan to create a team: If you plan to create a team you will need to register as a team captain (see above). Then you can tell your friends to register as a team player and join your team. To become an official team, you must register 16 players.
• I plan to join a team: If you already know with which team you are going to play on, you will need to register as a team player. Keep in mind that you can't randomly join any team; captains may ask that a player be removed from their team prior to the close of registration. Captains can email Marissa or Ashley to move a player from their team but only after the captain has communicated with the player first and explained why.
• I want to play but I don't have a team: That's fantastic! This league is about making new friends. Register as a free agent, or if you have a small group of friends, create a "small group" and we will do our best to place you all together! During registration, please select whether you would like to be on a team in the Competitive or Classic divisions. We will also host an event called the "Free Agent Social" if enough free agents have registered. This social event is for registered free agents to meet other players, teams and captains, and find a team that you might like to join. At the social you may request to be placed on a team.

• April 17, 2020 - T-Shirt Pick-Up Party
• June 14, 2020 - End of Season Party

Please note: Due to the scheduling of Easter, Memorial and Columbus Pride dates, we will not be able to have a Bye Week and we will not be making up rainouts this season.
