WELCOME TO STONEWALL SPORTS - COLUMBUS 

FALL 2021 KICKBALL SEASON

Dates/Times: All games will be played on Sundays between 11:00 AM - 4:00PM. Games are 45 minutes each and will begin on the hour.

Facility:  We will be playing at Driving Park, located at 1100 Rhoads Ave. Columbus, OH 43206

League Description: Pending registration, Stonewall Sports - Columbus Kickball plans to offer two types of divisions, competitive and classic. Divisions (and final number of teams per division) will be decided after registration closes and based on the selection made by the captain at the time of registration. Contingent on final numbers, there is the possibility that you will not play every team in your type of division.

Registration Cost: $35 per player, which includes your registered player t-shirt (see registration information section below). The league is open to all and those in need of an equitable registration option can email us for more information.

Registration Information: Registration for the Fall 2021 league begins on Friday July 30th, 2021 to Friday August 13th, 2021; or when the league is full. 

• A team is formed when 16 players register and pay within 24 hours. Each team may have up to 20 players. Any team that does not have the required 16 registered players when registration closes will revert to incorporating free agents to until the number reaches the minimum. We will do our best to keep groups together in the case that a minimum 16 players is not met.

• Captains: If you plan on being the captain of a team, you will need to register first, create the correct team and team name and then have players register under your team name. An email will be sent once you have signed up with additional team information and responsibilities as a captain as well as a link to select your color preferences for the Fall 2021 season. Captains and Co-Captains are also required to attend a mandatory Captain meeting on Sunday, August 22nd, 2021 (details to follow).  If neither the captain nor the co-captain are able to attend, they must provide a representative in their place.

• Players:

• I plan to create a team: If you plan to create a team you will need to register as a team captain (see above). Then you can tell your friends to register as a team player and join your team. To become an official team, you must register 16 players.

• I plan to join a team: If you already know with which team you are going to play on, you will need to register as a team player. Keep in mind that you can't randomly join any team; captains may ask that a player be removed from their team prior to the close of registration. Captains can email Diana Leyva or Tim Valenza to move a player from their team but only after the captain has communicated with the player first and explained why.

                     I want to play but I don't have a team: That's fantastic! This league is about making new friends. Register as a free agent, or if you have a small group of friends, create a "small group" and we will do our best to place you all together! Pay attention to social media for Free Agent Social event Friday Aug 6th. Free agents will be placed on any team that does not have the maximum number of registered players (20) when registration closes or by request of the free agent.

• August 6th, 2021 - Kickball Social
• August 13th, 2021 - Registration closes at midnight
• August 22nd, 2021 - Captains Meeting
• August 25th, 2021 - Umpire and Base refs training
• September 10th, 2021 - T-shirt pick up party
• November 12th, 2021 - Captains end of the season meeting

• Week 1 Games - September 12th, 2021
• Week 2 Games - September 19th, 2021
• Week 3 Games - September 26th, 2021
• Week 4 Games - October 3rd, 2021
• Week 5 Games - October 10th, 2021

October 17th - No games - Columbus Marathon

• Week 6 Games - October 24th, 2021
• Week 7 Games - October 31st, 2021
• Tournament and end of the season party - November 7th, 2021
