WELCOME TO STONEWALL SPORTS COLUMBUS SPRING 2023 KICKBALL SEASON

Dates/Times: All games will be played on Sunday, April 9th - June 11th between 11:00 AM - 4:00PM. Games are 45 minutes each.

Location: Sammons Park, 2877 Groveport Road, Columbus, OH 43207

League Description: Pending registration, Stonewall Sports - Columbus Kickball plans to offer two types of divisions, classic and recreational. Divisions (and final number of teams per division) will be decided after registration closes and based on the selection made by the captain at the time of registration. Contingent on final numbers, there is the possibility that you will not play every team in your type of division.

• Classic: Teams who want a more challenging experience, already know the basics and more of game play, understand the rules, and expect some friendly challenges.
• Recreational: Teams who want to hang out with their community and meet new people, do not expect a challenging experience, and may be new to the basics and rules of the game.

Registration Cost: $35 per player, which includes your registered player t-shirt (see registration information section below). The league is open to all and those in need of an equitable registration option can email us for more information.

Registration Information: Registration for the Spring 2023 league begins on Sunday, February 12, 2023 and closes on Sunday, February, 26th, 2023; or when the league is full.

Teams:

• Formed when 16 players register and pay within 24 hours.
• Each team may have up to 20 players.
• Any team that does not have the required 16 registered players when registration closes will revert to incorporating free agents until the number reaches the minimum.
• We will do our best to keep groups together in the case that a minimum 16 players are not met.

Captains:

• Register first before your team players.
• Create the team.
• Choose a team name.
• Players register under your team's name.
• An email will be sent once you have signed up. There will be additional team information and responsibilities as a captain.
• Required to attend a mandatory Captain meeting (details to follow). If neither the captain nor the co-captain is able to attend, please provide a representative in their place.

Players:

• Create a team: If you plan to create a team you will need to register as a team captain (see above). Then you can tell your friends to register as a team player and join your team. To become an official team, you must register 16 players.

• Join a team: If you already know with which team you are going to play on, you will need to register as a team player. Keep in mind that you can't randomly join any team; captains may ask that a player be removed from their team prior to the close of registration.

• Don't have a team: That's fantastic! This league is about making new friends. Register as a free agent, or if you have a small group of friends, create a "small group" and we will do our best to place you all together!
