WINTER 2020 DODGEBALL  - SEASON #2

Dates/Times: All games will be played on Sunday afternoons between 12:30 and 4 PM. 

Facility: We are happy to announce that we have again reserved Cleo Dumaree Athletic Complex located at 276 S Nelson Rd, Columbus, OH 43205. Please remember: no alcohol, no smoking and no profanity is permitted on the premises. 

League Description: Stonewall Sports Columbus Dodgeball will have four Divisions, comprised of eight teams on each Division (proposed; final numbers based on registration numbers). Divisions will be decided after registration closes. Each team will need to have a minimum of 12 players, with a maximum of 16

Registration Cost: $35 per player, which includes your registered player t-shirt (see registration information section below). The league is open to all and those in need of a registration waiver can complete this form.

Registration Information: Registration for the Winter 2020 league is from Sunday, December 1, 2019 to Sunday, December 15, 2018; or when the league is full.

  • A team is formed when 12 players register and pay. Each team may have up to 16 players. Any team that does not have the required 12 registered players when registration closes will revert to free agents and will be assigned to the formed teams. We will do our best to keep groups together. If we have an odd number of teams, we will have to make major changes to teams to accommodate everyone. 
  • Captains: If you plan on being the captain of a team, you will need to register first and then have players register under your team name. An email will be sent once you have signed up with additional team information and responsibilities as a captain. Captains and Co-Captains are also required to attend the Captain's meeting on Sunday, December 15, 2019 - details to follow
  • Players:
    • I plan to create a team: If you plan to create a team you will need to register as a team captain (see above). Then you can tell your friends to register as a team player and join your team. To become one of the official new teams, you must register 12 players. 
    • I plan to join a team: If you already know with which team you are going to play on, you will need to register as a team player. Keep in mind that you can't randomly join any team; captains may ask that a player be removed from their team prior to the close of registration. Captains can email the dodgeball leadership team to move a player from their team, but only after the captain has communicated with the player first and explained why. 
    • I want to play but I don't have a team: That's fantastic! This league is about making new friends and building community. Register as a free agent. We will host an event called the free agent social if enough free agents have registered. This social event it for registered free agents to meet other players, teams and captains, and find a team that you might like to join. At the social you may request to be placed on a team.

  • Feb. 9, 2020 - Week 5 
  • Feb. 23, 2020 - Week 6 
  • Mar. 1, 2020 - League Championships and End of Season Party

All events above will be on Sundays unless otherwise stated. All events above will be Cleo Dumaree Athletic Complex unless otherwise stated. Additional events may be added throughout the season too.
